United Music Canada is dedicated to promoting the transformative power of music and providing opportunities for individuals and communities to experience, create, and celebrate music in ways that enrich and inspire their lives.
Our mission is centered on engaging and empowering individuals and communities through music, providing opportunities for music education and artistic expression, fostering creativity and diversity in music culture, collaborating with artists, educators, and community partners to promote positive social change, and operating with financial sustainability and transparency.
Over the next five years, we have set ambitious goals to achieve our mission and objectives. In year one alone, we will be hosting a flash mob event to raise awareness on the sex trafficking issues within Canada and organizing a Christmas Carol event for seniors in partnership with local senior centers. Our plans to quickly expand and reach out to more members of community through the power of music include: launching a talent search for kids under 12 to promote music education and artistic expression, developing partnerships with local non-profit organizations to expand outreach and impact, establishing a low-cost music production program for aspiring artists, and hiring a team of volunteers to support event coordination and execution.
