A Night of Hope at Sheridan Villa Long Term Care Home
United Music Canada brought songs of hope to Sheridan Villa Long Term Care Home

Music has a unique way of reaching places words cannot, and our recent visit to Sheridan Villa Long Term Care Home was a beautiful reminder of that truth.
The United Music Canada volunteered singers were honoured to spend time with the seniors at Sheridan Villa, sharing carols and moments of connection through song. As familiar melodies filled the room, hearts opened, memories stirred, and the atmosphere became one of warmth and togetherness.
One particularly touching highlight came when a senior requested “O Holy Night.” The room fell quiet as one of our dedicated volunteers, Aydeji, stepped forward to perform the song. With sincerity and emotion, the performance resonated deeply, carrying the weight of the lyrics and the spirit of the season. It was a moment of stillness and reverence ,one that reminded us of the power of music to inspire hope and reflection..

We are deeply grateful to all our volunteers who continue to give their time, voices, and hearts so generously. Your commitment makes moments like these possible. Each note sung, each smile shared, and each presence offered contributes to bringing comfort and light to those we serve.
Thank you to Sheridan Villa Long Term Care Home for welcoming us so warmly, and thank you to every volunteer who stood with us in song. Together, we are reminded that music is more than sound, it is connection, compassion, and love in action.
